West Coast Partnership brings together Community Rail partners

West Coast Partnership (WCP) hosted its annual community rail conference on 7 June. This was attended by 20 Community Rail Partnerships (CRPs).

The conference provided WCP with an opportunity to update CRPs on the business, its recovery campaign, partnership working, and its responsible business plan.

It also allowed attendees to hear from Jools Townsend, Chief Executive of Community Rail Network, on community rail’s role in the recovery of passenger confidence, and to hear successful case studies from Heart of England CRP and The Settle Carlisle Railway Company Ltd.

Attendees were also provided with opportunities to workshop ideas on how CRPs could support passenger recovery and how CRPs could make a real difference to over 1 million lives by 2031 through community impact.
