Connor Naismith, MP for Crewe, recently visited our Talent Academy in Crewe to learn more about the wide range of training and development programmes delivered at the site. 

During the visit, Connor experienced several of the academy’s specialist training facilities, including the driver simulator, virtual and augmented reality training technology, Set 33 training train and other operational learning environments designed to support workforce development across the rail industry. 

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the academy’s role in developing future rail talent and supporting innovation in training practices. Connor also expressed his support for the continued growth of Crewe as a centre for rail training, skills and innovation, recognising the important contribution of the wider rail sector and related industries in the town.
